Airport is officially
named Brescia Gabrielle D’Annunzio Airport (VBS). It
is situated in Montichiari, and has mostly national flights.
It is located at 18 km of Brescia city centre, 50 km from
Verona, and 120 km from Milan. Moreover, it has got a
good system of motorway linking it to A4 (which is the
Brescia-Verona-Vicenza-Padua motorway). Brescia Airport
gives easy access to many Italian ski resorts; you just
have to arrange airport transfer. It is quite close to
Dolomiti Superski Area, and to Bolzen Dolomites. Low cost

several ski resorts in the Sella Ronda circuit, for instance,
Alta Badia (with 500 km of ski runs), Ladin Valley, Borno
(at around 60 km from Brescia Airport) and Val Gardena,
which is a great ski resort in Selva Gardena. Val Gardena
has 175 km of ski runs and is part of Dolomiti Superski
Area. Airport transfer from Brescia Airport can also take
you to some ski resorts near Borno ski resort. They are
Ponti di Legno, Tonale, Presenna, Montecampione (with
65% of intermediate runs), and Vallecamonica. Apart from
these ski resorts, you can reach Monte Altissimo, Obereggen
(Ski Centre Latemar), Vall di Femme, and Alpe di Siusi
(with 60% of intermediate runs), the last three in Dolomiti
Superski Area.
At one and a half hour of distance,
we can book ski transfer from Brescia Airport to Castione
della Presolana, Colere, and Schilpario. At 2 hours distance,
you can reach Aprica (with 40 km of downhill skiing),
Asiago, Cavalese, Fai della Paganella (the last two are
excellent for intermediate skiers), Foppolo, and Pego
(a small but pretty ski resort). Moreover, if you are
up to it, at two and a half hours of distance, ski transfer
can get you to the following ski resorts: Alba, Madonna
di Campiglio, Marilleva, Moena, Pinzolo, Pozza di Fassa,
Predazzo, Santa Cristina, among others.
It is possible
to get to most ski resorts by bus or taxi instead of
