    About Kappl

Kappl is nestled among the Austrian Alps and presents some truly stunning scenery. As far as skiing goes, the town of just over 2,500 permanent residents operates nine ski lifts that serve 13 pistes totalling 40km of runs. There are runs well above the 2,500 metre mark too, which means excellent snow is guaranteed throughout the season. Kappl is also very well connected with the nearby resorts of Galtur and Ischgl, which can be reached by the fast and affordable ski bus. It’s a great place for families and first-timers, though intermediates and pros are also spoilt for choice.

    Airports Serving Kappl

Getting into Kapply is a piece of cake as there are at least half a dozen airports within easy reach of the town – all of which run their own dedicated Kappl resort transfer services. If you’re able to get into town via Innsbruck, quick getaways and weekend trips are perfectly possible as Kappl is no more than an hour away. St. Gallen-Altenrhein is the second closest, but more often than not cheaper flights can be found in and out of Munich.

    Advice on Transportation to Kappl

Public transport links are pretty abundant from all of the above-mentioned airports and you’ll find even more running from Innsbruck rail station. Trains are said to be a little on the slow side but this is compensated for by the stunning scenery along the way. However, as you’re never guaranteed a seat, journeys can take a very long time and prices swing all over the place, we cannot overstate how much there is to gain by pre-booking with an organised airport transfer service.
