Gostling Hochkar is a ski area located 150 kilometers (93 mi) from Vienna. It is popular among skiers who want to leave Vienna for a day. The ski resort is near Göstling and is called Hochkar-Göstling. Hochkar-Göstling has 9 lifts and offers skiers a respectable 428 metres (1400ft) of vertical descent.
