Mayrhofen is a famous and favourite ski resort with a good reputation and old history. The first traditions of apres-ski culture took their roots in Mayrhofen and have been developing since then. There are several main airports serving Mayrfohen: they are Innsbruck (60 km), Salzburg (Maxglan) (170 km) and Munich (Franz-Josef-Strauss) (190 km). Comfortable trips on a taxi or transfer will bring you to the ski resort within 3 hours depending on the weather and traffic conditions.
Busses Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe go between the train station Jenbach and Mayrhofen. The distance is 35 km.
The nearest train station is Jenbach, change trains to Zillertalbahn and go 35 km more to Mayrhofen.
via motorway Inntalautobahn till the exit Zillertal, then 30 km more via B169.
