In the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps lies a family-friendly resort called Neukirchen / Wildkogel. It belongs to the Hohe Tauern national Park Region. For curious skiers and snowboarders the neighboring ski areas are also available: the Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel Ski Region. Young families, ski and snowboard addicts and those who love the romance of winter, will discover all they have hoped for and more.
The ski resort has direct access to 55 km of groomed downhills, with 14 individual pistes, served by 15 ski lifts. 45% of pistes are blue, good for beginners, 40% are red, good for intermediate and 15% of pistes are black, meant for experts. Trail options include an incredible 14 km winding blue down to the neighbouring village of Bramberg (you need to take a bus back - free of charge) or the plunging five kilometre, 1300 vertical metre descent from the top of the lifts back down to the resort centre. The highest point you can be elevated is 2150 m above sea level.

Transfer times to and from Neukirchen / Wildkogel are approximate dry road timings and subject to weather and traffic conditions. A hire car on a clear, dry road may be slightly quicker; a transfer bus in a queue on a snowy road may take significantly longer. Allow plenty of time to make sure you catch your flight.
