Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle is a commune in the Vosges department in Lorraine in northeastern France. As its name suggests, the town is watered by the Moselle, but also includes several outlying localities like the Charbonniers, Rieux's Drop, Red Grass. It is the southernmost town in the Lorraine region. The southern and eastern boundaries of the town consists of a line of fairly continuous ridge and difficult to cross, the ball Servance to the Head of New Wood separating Lorraine Franche-Comte and Alsace. The highlight is the High Bers, four kilometers to the east and five meters higher than the famous ball of Alsace. In the winter you will find activities like, of course skiing, but also snowshoes walking, horse riding, walking, there is also a relaxing center, the village is the place you are looking for to relax, you will forgot your stressful life in the very pleasant environment. You will be able to go skiing in The "Rouge Gazon" and in the "Ballon d'Alsace". Both are about 10 min driving from Saint Maurice center.
